I-129 Supplement F: Petition for Alien Fiance(e)

Use Form I-129F if you are a U.S. citizen physically present in the U.S. and wish to petition for your fianc(e)and her/his children to enter the U.S. in contemplation of marriage. You must demonstrate that you met the alien-fianc(e) within the last two years and are both free to marry each other. Marriage must occur within 90 days of the fianc(e)s U.S. entry in nonimmigrant visa status ("K" visa).

I-130: Petition for Alien Relative

Use Form I-130 if you want to sponsor a family member and one of the following categories applies to you:

  • You are a U.S. citizen sponsoring your spouse, child (any age, married or unmarried), fiance(e) in the U.S. with K status, or adopted orphan child under 16.
  • You are a U.S. citizen 21 years of age or older and you are sponsoring your parent(s), brother or sister.
  • You are a permanent resident sponsoring your spouse or child (any age, unmarried).

I-360: Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), Or Special Immigrant

Use Form I-360 to petition for permanent residence if you're:

  • an Amerasian;
  • widow or widower of a U.S. citizen who died within the past 2 years;
  • a special immigrant such as a religious worker a battered spouse or child of a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident;
  • a Non-America U.S. government employee with 15 years of service
  • a pre-1977 employee of the Panama Canal Company or Canal Zone Government;
  • a foreign medical graduate who entered the U.S. to practice medicine before 1978;
  • an employee, or immediate relative of an employee, of an international organization;
  • a juvenile declared dependent on a court for long-term foster care; or
  • an alien with at least 12 years of active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces after October 15, 1978.
Amerasians are children fathered by American servicemen in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam and Korean Wars.

I-751: Petition to Remove Condition on Residence

Use Form I-751 to petition for removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident based on marriage to a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

I-600: Petition to Classify Orphan as Immediate Relative

Use Form I-600 if you are a U.S. citizen to petition to classify a child as an orphan if you already know the childs identity and the child is still abroad.

I-600A: Application for Advance Processing of Orphan Petition

Use Form I-600A only if you wish to get USCIS advanced approval of your eligibility to adopt a foreign orphan while making efforts to locate and identify the orphan.

For I-600 and I-600A purposes, "Orphan" means a child under the age of 16, whose parents are dead, or who have unconditionally abandoned the child, or relinquished the child into the custodial care of someone else, or whose sole surviving parent is incapable of providing for the childs basic needs.

Note: Forms I-600 and I-600A may soon become obsolete as the USCIS has announced that it will be issuing a revised Form I-130 incorporating forms I-600 and I-600A. A notice will be posted on this Web site as soon as the new Form I-130 issues.
